What it does
Turn PDF pages into JPG pictures. Choose a resolution, convert all pages or only the ones you need, and download the images one by one or as a ZIP. JPG files are small and open everywhere, which makes them the easiest way to show a page in a chat, a social post, a slide or a form that only accepts images. The PDF is read and rendered by your browser, so it never leaves your device.
How to use it
- Click “Choose a PDF file”, drop a PDF onto the box, or paste with Ctrl+V (⌘+V on a Mac).
- Pick a resolution: 150 DPI suits most uses, 300 DPI is for printing or zooming into small text.
- Keep “All pages”, or choose “Choose pages” and type page numbers or tap the pages you want.
- Click “Convert”, then download each JPG or all of them as a ZIP.
Common uses
- Sending one page of a document in a messaging app that previews images but not PDFs
- Uploading a certificate or ID page to a form that only accepts JPG
- Putting a page of a report or a chart into a presentation or social post
Tips
- Use 150 DPI for screens and sharing; an A4 page comes out about 1240 × 1754 pixels.
- At 300 DPI an A4 page is about 2480 × 3508 pixels, enough to print it at full size.
- If a page is mostly text or line drawings and must stay razor-sharp, PDF to PNG gives cleaner edges than JPG.
