What it does
Many websites serve images as WebP. Convert them to JPG so any app can open them.
How to use it
- Click “Choose images”, drop your WebP files onto the box, or paste with Ctrl+V (⌘+V on a Mac).
- They’re converted to JPG straight away, in your browser.
- Download each JPG file, or all of them together as a ZIP.
Common uses
- Saving product or article images from websites that download as .webp
- Using web images in apps that can’t open WebP, such as older photo viewers
- Sending images to people whose devices don’t preview WebP
Tips
- Transparent areas in a WebP image become white in the JPG.
- The JPG is often bigger than the WebP. That’s normal: WebP simply compresses more efficiently.
